Description:
Can anyone explain to me how a French inscription Import from Germany and the German symbol rune can appear on a typewriter from 1938 at the same time? And on a typewriter designed for ordinary people in Germany found in the Czech Republic?
Very interesting machine, neglected and dirty, which no one noticed in the ad for several months. Obtained very cheaply from an older gentleman from Bohemia who was not willing to send it to me. He preferred only personal collection, but after 2 months I managed to find a carrier for him, who picked it up for me. Repaired and fully functional, but I still have to clean it.

Historical typewriters, cameras, sewing machines, ... - all beautiful things, that work only on the basis of human skill and ability. Therefore, they deserve our attention and respect. I do not want to let those inventions that pushed us forward much faster than we were prepared, them disappear in this way.
Lives in Michalovce, Slovakia. Proud father of two children. Started collecting in March 2020. More a hunter than a collector or restorer. But determined to change it and bring the machines to a new life. Thank you in advance for any of your advice and help. (English is not my strong side, so I use Uncle Google's help. Correct me anytime).
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia Filia on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia Filia By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
