Description:
This '37 Woodstock has been "updated" for the Deco age with some bakelite panels on either end of the carriage and a typebar hoodâan aluminum structure that simply slides under the ribbon cups. I expect that this structure, which really has no function other than helping to keep some dust out, must often have been lost. It is also liable to getting scratched (as this one was) because it comes very close to the bottom of the carriage return lever.
