Someone had thrown this gorgeous typewriter away, had thrown it IN THE GARBAGE. I couldn't believe it. I grabbed it and rushed it home. The case was beyond saving, but the machine was just moldy and dusty. After a good cleaning, degreasing and other TLC, it became a spectacular typer and one of my absolute favorites of my machines. A prized possession, I love it to death.

I found this machine standing by itself next to some trash cans in upstate New York. Someone had thrown this gorgeous typewriter away, had thrown it IN THE GARBAGE. I couldn't believe it. I grabbed it and rushed it home. The case was beyond saving, but the machine was just moldy and dusty. After a good cleaning, degreasing and other TLC, it became a spectacular typer and one of my absolute favorites of my machines. A prized possession, I love it to death.
