1937 Royal De Luxe

Full Working Condition. This was bought for me from the same typewriter shop I got my first typewriter from. I do not believe that this is its original color though I could be wrong. It was well restored so it runs very well for its age and type. It is a little clunky and is hard to write very quickly on, but it has a good imprint and type feel overall.

Though I have had a love for typewriters since I was a kid (in the 90's) I didn't start collecting in earnest until 2020 (having had 3 typewriters still in my posession and several long gone). Since then, I have become an avid collector, focusing primarily on fully functional manual typewriters. After collecting more than 30, I determined that my favorite Brand overall is Smith Corona and I attempt to hone my collection in that direction. Here's the preservation of one of the best storytellers we've ever known!!
