Description:
Probably one of the rarest music typewriters in the world.
Winning the grand prize in the 1937 International Exhibition in Paris, only 10 are believed to have been made. 5 were exported to the USA and of these 5, 4 are now in museums.
There are only 2 which are known to be in private collections, one which came from the 5 sent to USA, and this one, which surfaced in Europe.
What is special about this one is that it comes complete with its beautiful leather covered case, which is still in great condition. Sadly, the manual is missing, but after changing the one inch wide ribbon, I was able to type a very rough music score complete with time and key signatures. Just look at that beautiful musical typeface. Gorgeous!

I live in Singapore and I love typewriters for their history, and for the sheer genius of how they were made!
