Description:
Local community spring cleaning auction. So dirty that doubted it could ever work again.
After close inspection and cleaning, found that it is mostly working. In retrospect, this machine survived the apocalypse, barely.
Exterior scuffs and paint condition are so bad that it seems that it's better to keep it that way to show the future how to survive.
Will provide type sample later if possible, but looks Pica, the old ribbon had become mostly powder. Removed covers to clean interior, so took some photos with metal covers removed to show some interior. This model has hinged spool covers that still function.
Platen rubber hard but after cleaning rollers found that paper still feeds well, a miracle.

Retired to the quiet of rural Nebraska to contemplate nature.
Typing down thoughts, prefer that to handwriting.
Not really a collector, just like to tinker on mechanical things.
