Description:
The Favorit has the interesting push-rod mechanism that was found on early Alder models. The Adler company built it’s highly successful line of typewriters on US inventor Wellington Parker Kidder's original design. Overall this example is in good shape. Need to find the correct ribbon spools...The hunt begins

I am an avid typewriter enthusiast with currently over one hundred (100) typewriters in my collection (and growing). I am a proud TWDB Patron. I have also collected vintage briefcases (mostly Hartmann) Movie Cameras (8mm & 16mm) and many Fountain Pens. I am the author of the novella 'Killer on the Canvas'. I am also a big Don Quixote fan. I make my home in Southern California.
My Typewriter manufacture dates currently range from 1883 to 1996.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler Favorit on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler Favorit By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
