Description:
A wonderful little typewriter. Beautifully maintained for its age, though i need to give it a thorough cleaning. Still has a lot of life in it, and fast becoming one of my favorites to type on.
The only noticeable problem is that is has no kind of return lever at all. It doesn't appear that it ever had one though. No paper support bar either.
Pushing the carriage over and giving it a manual twist isn't that difficult though, and only interrupts the flow of typing a little bit for me.
These really were barebones typewrites though. Makes me wonder if some of the first ones lacked a bell and backspace key like my Royal Signet.

A writer and beginner collector/restorer of typewriters. I'd always written a few pages a day, been sort of a habit for a number of years now, and I saw a few typewriters in movies and loved the sound they made, so I decided to buy one to see what it was like.
Ended up with a Olivetti Lettera 22, and after writing about a hundred pages with it, I was hooked.
