Description:
You know how sometimes you like the first one, so you buy a second one?
This is the slightly earlier version of what would become the Klein-Urania. They are mechanically quite different from the later machines, but the feel is similar, and the right-hand return lever is something unique to this family of portables. They are fun, if plainly featured machines. This one had a skin condition, but the original decals were so nice that it would be a shame to remove the visual history.
This one has become the Venneburg 'Shop Truck', or rather the machine that can be brought place to place without worry of other paint damage or any wear. It is not the prettiest, but it is a functional workhorse.

This gallery represents the machines owned by good friends Dirk Plante and Sean Doole, who reside in British Columbia, Canada. Together they have established Venneburg Typewriters, a partnership that to date has seen over 400 typewriters since 2009. Here you will find the machines that are currently still in possession or that have come and gone since December 2017.
***As of July 2020, this collection now also represents pieces from the collection of Troy Krahn!
