Fell in love with a 6 after getting to type on a beauty that had been cleaned by Ole Kehlet and was donated by him as a prize at a typewriter event. Hunted for almost two years before finding the one the felt right and was the right price--plucked from the Dax collection by Ole--little did I know in 2018 that Ole Kehlet would help me find my treasured Underwood 6.
This machine is a beauty to behold and types beautifully too. The carriage moves across to the right, the margin settings are funny at first--set it on the right for your left margin, left for the right.

Partial to portables/ultraportables, but do love my standard models too. I use my typewriters for letters, recipes, lists, stories, pondering, and in art/fabric creations.
