Description:
This machine appears to have been given a custom paint job. Under some of the screws is gloss black paint. There is a gloss band that remains around the bottom near the feet and around the side of the top panels. Black crinkle paint on the top and grey crinkle paint on most of the body and the side panels on the carriage. I think it is absolutely gorgeous. I love the way the back painted glass panels on the sides coordinate with the gloss stripes, Digital tabulator is a nice upgrade too.

A lifelong tinker. Tearing up toys since the 70âs to see how they work!
A not so talented two finger typer, suddenly thrown into the world of touch typing and typewriter repair by my 1954 Smith-Corona Silent-Super affectionately called Cricket.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal H on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal H By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
