Description:
I bought it already damaged. The backspace key was severely bent, the carriage won't advance on its own, and the original green paint was in horrible condition. However, despite it's outside appearance, the internals are very clean, with no rust. It is the Elite typeface. I can't wait to get it fixed and start using it.

I caught the typewriter bug when I fell in love with an Underwood 5. A few months later and I am now up to 10 typewriters, with the majority consisting of Royal P's and O's. I keep telling myself that "this is the last one", but we all know how that goes..
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal De Luxe on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal De Luxe By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
