Description:
Despite a lot of attempts I cannot get the text to strike where I like. Have the cases lined up but everything is striking too low. Adjustments result in one striking good and the other failing to come into alignment. Maybe the platen is just that dry and shrunken. A good looking machine regardless but I wish I could get it to behave.

I love vintage technology in general; audio stuff, computers, film cameras, but typewriters are fun by virtue of how mechanical they are. I have lately been using mine to write letters to internet penpals as well as politicians.
