Description:
This machine is in pretty fantastic condition for its age and that it has not been stored in a case and has been a decorative item for an indeterminate period of time. Private sale, this machine was purchased in more recent times for a girl by a boyfriend. They are still together but do not need the typewriter so it was my gain. This happy little machine will get a full restoration when time and funds permit.

Novice typewriter enthusiast. My first experience with a typewriter was with my grandma and her letting me type away on hers for hours without a single complaint (she was an angel). My love for vintage fountain pens, my favourite grandma and an appreciation for practical antiques/art has brought me here. One of the most rewarding thing so far about this hobby has been the very interesting and wonderfully helpful I've been introduced to.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal O on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal O By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
