1934 Everest 34S Serial # H13392 1934 Everest 34S typewriter, Serial # H13392 Massimo Martelancz's 1934 Everest 34S typewriter. 2024-04-09 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Massimo Martelancz: 1934 Everest 34S Serial # H13392 This Everest typewriter is truly a rare model. It was produced in very few specimens only for a few months in the year 1934. It is very similar to the also rare later models 42 and 44 from which it differs in some minimal details and in the different design of the cover plate (see last two photo comparing the two models). In my "collecting career" I have only seen one other (black) 34S model. UPDATE : i discover the existence of a mod. 33 specimen (see last two images). It is missing of the "shell" ribbon spool covers. It would appear identical to the mod. 34.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
