Description:
I suppose this is the SX model, it is segment shifted rather than carriage shifted like most Royal 10s. Excellent typer, and what a sound it makes! If I had to reduce my collection even down to 5 I can say this machine would certainly be one I would keep. It's just so classy and when you combine that with being awesome... well. And it was a steal at $75 through someone I met because I posted an ad on craigslist saying I was looking for typewriters.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
