Description:
The first time I saw a colored Underwood Junior, I assumed it to be a repaint, both because crinkle finish was atypical of Underwoods from this period, and offering a no-frills model in various colors seemed contrary to the concept. So imagine my surprise when I found a *second* color Junior, in a different shade of green and made within only a few hundred units of the first!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood Junior on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood Junior By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
