I've grown an affinity for pre & post-WWII office machines. I grew up in an insurance agency and remember playing with mid-century office equipment. Collecting machines is rather nostalgic and connects one to those who came before us.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal Signet on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal Signet By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
