Obviously a Typewriter for a Lady!
With italics Typeface and glossy wine-red Paint, very brittle since beeing not used in the last 80 Years.
Only the Main-Types are used, the last are as good
i bought it in a Lumber for 15â¬.
all original Features including the Box with green
Felt underneth the Machine.
The Ribbon-Spool are as old as the Typewriter, they are in the same paint!
Hunter: Jan-Christoph Steer (Jan)
Status: Typewriter Hunter
Collector of machines from 1910's to 1960's.
Mostly german typewriters.
The design is always important for me, first it must be nice,
than look if it writes well or not.
I Always get a cheap purchase of poor condition-maschines,
so i have to clean, oil, polish and repair.
Try to save the present condition, no Restauration to new-condition.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Continental 34 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Continental Serial Number page and the Continental 34 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
