Description:
This example of the early 30's S-C was my first flat top acquisition. Burgundy/Maroon color with Corona badging made this a part of my collection. The photos are as received prior to cleaning and repairs. the Escapement is out of adjustment. Hopefully will not take too much effort to bring her back to fully functioning. Once repaired,
I will update with Type sample

I have been collecting, restoring, and repairing, for a bit over 2 years now. The Majority of my collection is Mid and early century, and my preferred period is developing more to 19th century and early 20th. I am currently seeking more 19th century models to add to the collection.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona S-C on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona S-C By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
