Description:
Purchased in Autumn, 2020, from an eBay seller in North Carolina. Her daughter had used it as a college typer decades ago, but more than that she did not recall. Underwood made wood grain C model four banks in several colors, including red and brown, and these usually had white key inserts and matching spool covers. This Underwood's key inserts are black, but consistent with Underwood styling, and the generic (but matching) black spool covers make this typewriter unique. Was in good mechanical shape when I bought it, but dirty. The surface paint is delicate in places, making any further cleaning inadvisable. Sports custom ribbon selector colors to match the black/green ribbon I use in it.
