Description:
An Underwood Noiseless Standard.
Unfortunately, this one is not operational. Although the paint job is generally intact, and the only broken piece is the left platen knob, the mechanism is in rough shape. The keys look like someone stomped on them, and the typebars do not operate correctly. I can only get the carriage to move with the tab key.
I decided to clean it up to use as a display piece. The gloss black is so much easier to improve, compared to crinkle finish.

Trying very hard to be more judicious in my acquisitions...
I like interesting typefaces. I like tinkering with my acquisitions to make them work.
