Description:
This is a nice Royal P in an uncommon white/cream color. Some folks believe that these were sold to clergy - though my personal theory is that they were more commonly sold to medical professionals. There are several other white Royal portables floating around, and it seems most of them have apothecary keyboards. This one doesn't have apothecary keys, but it does have a tabulator key, which was offered as an option on these second-generation Ps. A very interesting typewriter!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal P on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal P By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
