Description:
It looked like this when it came by parcel shipping.
Merz typewriters in good condition are very expensive, so I decided to buy this very cheap and rusty machine. It was on eBay only listed as "old typewriter". Because of that (and the condition) I was the only bidder and get it for the starting price. It has a little problem with the carriage. I will try to fix that and clean it. I will not repaint it.
Typewriters in good condition always find an owner, typewriter like this are often killed for parts, but this will type again (I hope) and get a new life.
Update:
It types again! Not perfect, some things that I have to fix, but most functions are working

Typewriter collector from Germany. I collect all brands, but like Olivetti the most. I'm not that type of collector that buys the most expensive, old or rare pieces. I love and collect typewriters because it was an everyday product millions of people used. Much of them are well-made and were so expensive for there pre-owner – now, people want not to throw them away, but they don't want them anymore – and so, there are ridiculous cheap. When I see a typewriter, standing around and being so cheap, I cannot abandon it. (I hope my english is at least understandable, feel free to correct me).
