Description:
If it has a case it's a portable right?? 6 Express is my best guess as to the model, feel free to correct me if you notice something I did not.
The number I thought was the serial number was not... I saw photos of another machine recently and my plaque with the number has been removed from my machine! The holes where it was attached are there, and so is one of the screws/rivets.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Mercedes 6 Express on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Mercedes Serial Number page and the Mercedes 6 Express By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
