This small key under the Victor lettering is not a tab key as you might expect, but this is the backspace.

Squint from the seller of this typewriter in Zurich Switzerland

This is the decimal tab lever. A very nice design.

This is the mechanism to tension the spring that pulls the slide

The roller of the inner carriage can be removed, which is very practical if you want to oil or clean the machine

These are the widow levers, they connect the buttons and the type levers. Such pull levers (horizontal) that connect the double lever (upright) with the type lever are also available on the L. C. Smith & Bros typewriter or on the Monarch typewriter

this is the mechanism that moves the ribbon fork upwards when a key is pressed.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Victor 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Victor Serial Number page and the Victor 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
