Acquired summer 2024 from an estate sale in the local area. Woodgrain dark brown finish. Elite type.
I was initially concerned over the condition of this machine, with the carriage-bearing trucks loosely hanging out of their races. There was barely anything holding the carriage on. Fortunately, that was an easy fix. This typewriter needed very little beyond a basic cleaning to get working in good order. Normally I like to polish up my machines, but this one has such a lovely patina that I've decided to leave it as-is. For its age, it is a lovely little typer.
