Description:
This typewriter is complete and operative. The keyboard set is a strange one (german?):
The upper bank is a "QERTY" one. The W is on the lower bank.
On the back of the paper table you can read: "LICENSED UNDER GUBELMANN PATENT NOVEMBER 9, 1915". I have no idea about this legend, but Mr. Robert Messenger have an article about it: http://oztypewriter.blogspot.com.ar/2013/01/mystery-of-gubelmann-typewriter.html
This typewriter was made in 1929, the last year for this Underwood portable model, and its serial # 209568 is the highest in the Database.
