Description:
Alas, I did not think to take a front photograph. And the pictures are terrible because I am new to this and I simply wanted to research the model. This Royal portable was seen 05 October 2017 at The Scrap Exchange in Durham, NC, listed at $45. It appeared to be in excellent condition. I should have purchased it immediately, for when I returned armed with newfound knowledge I discovered it to have already been bought.

Having grown up and aged in the Digital Era, I should be as enamored of computers and cell phones and the Internet as are my peers; instead, I have grown weary of digital technologies. And that is why I joined this site, in my effort to locate a functional and useful manual typewriter for correspondance. I also am interested in film photography, among many other interests. I have a degree in Anthropology, which is humorous because I am a misanthrope. I suppose I should also add that, if memory serves me, I learned to type in a high school typing course on some kind of IBM Selectric.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal P on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal P By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
