Was very excited to find this one! It looks so glamorous, but it's gummed with gunk at the moment and about half of the typebars stick. The seller said the "ribbon advance wasn't working" but it was just spooled incorrectly, which was a relief. This beauty is at the top of my list for a good cleaning session.
Note the paint splodge on the side of the typewriter in one of the photos - the sides of the top plates, along with the frame edges around the keyboard, have been lined with black paint. Is this a factory effect or has someone done this at home? I'm leaning towards the latter because of the splodge and the bad freehand paint on the left top plate.
