Description:
I received this typewriter as a gift from my dad. He bought it at a barn sale. When I received it, it was unrecognizable. The typebars were rusted stuck. It is now in complete working condition. This was my first restoration. I replaced the draw band and of course the ribbon. I fitted it with some makeshift feet until I can get the correct ones. I will also be replacing the worn decals and resurfacing the platen. The feed rollers are in surprisingly good shape!

I am a photographer and collector of all things analog! I love film photography and vinyl records. I love restoring typewriters, as I find the before and after to be very satisfying. I am located in Northwest Indiana, about an hour south of Chicago.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 4 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 4 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
