Description:
I found him dirty and dysfunctional. After cleaning and repair, it works again. But he needs new springs for some keys, one rubber foot and a new ribbon. I have no case. Typewriterdatabase.com states that the Adler 30 began production in 1930 (from serial number 400001), but this typewriter has a serial number from 1929, so the database would need a minor correction. Or has someone just replaced the top cover on the machine? Dutch keyboard.

Historical typewriters, cameras, sewing machines, ... - all beautiful things, that work only on the basis of human skill and ability. Therefore, they deserve our attention and respect. I do not want to let those inventions that pushed us forward much faster than we were prepared, them disappear in this way.
Lives in Michalovce, Slovakia. Proud father of two children. Started collecting in March 2020. More a hunter than a collector or restorer. But determined to change it and bring the machines to a new life. Thank you in advance for any of your advice and help. (English is not my strong side, so I use Uncle Google's help. Correct me anytime).
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler 30 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler 30 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
