1928 Royal P Serial # P94153 1928 Royal P typewriter, Serial # P94153 Jack B's 1928 Royal P typewriter. 2015-03-22 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Jack B: 1928 Royal P Serial # P94153 This model P was made in the third year of Royal portable production. This is just one example of the many crazy and creative colors Royal made. This one is maroon alligator skin, I think.

According to the embossed label on the front, this belonged to Harold E. Patton, and a note on the inside says the rubber was replaced in 1958. Neat!

UPDATE: Once I got a fresh ribbon in there and started to use it, I realized how loud this machine really is. When it is at work, I can hear it echo in the air vents.

Also, this one is really rough on ribbons. The one I just put in it is already full of holes!
