Description:
I spent far more for this guy than I should have. But considering all the work I've put in cleaning and dismantling, when its platen and rollers come back from JJ Short later this week, it'll be the best damned typewriter I own. These pics are pre-deep clean and platen recovering.

I am a student, father, and metrologist (gauges, not weather), Dungeon Master and typewriter tinkerer extraordinaire! I've only been at collecting and fixing since August 2018, but I already am a more confident person. I have learned a great deal from many of the wonderful resources available on the Internet, and I've met a lot of awesome people in my travels! Hopefully some folks can say the same about me!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
