Description:
Bought from a seller on Ebay in the UK.
Unfortunately, it arrived damaged and several keys bent along with the space bar.
Luckily, it still works and prints fairly well. But it is stiff and needs some deep cleaning and checking of other linkages.
A very interesting machine and quite a change in design from the earlier Adler/Kidder(?) design.
I have gotten the machine to type and the shift to work. I will honestly say that it is a fine writing machine, however, I am having an issue with a few of the keys still not returning fully. I do not believe it has much to do with the keys that were bent because some of the those keys work the best.
I think with a little more work this thing will be ready to go.
Left the collection on 1/26/2018.

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler 25 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler 25 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
