Description:
Work commenced reluctantly on this Corona #4 as they generally have presented themselves as a troublesome sort. Uncharacteristically, this particular example flourished throughout the refurbishment. I renewed my appreciation for early 20th century portables turning screws on this fine machine. It required a new draw-band and front feed-roller as well as escapement and space-bar adjusting siding a much-needed deep-clean in order to return to it's full potential. Replacing it's feet and finding Corona spool-covers would bring this back cherry.
