I bought this machine on February 21, 2026 at a collectors' meeting of the IFHB/SHBS in Solothurn, Switzerland. The AEG Special is a rare variant of the AEG Mignon No. 3 or No. 4 (in this case, the Mignon 4 because it has a backspace button). I got this machine from the Enter Technikwelt collection. Purchased. The machine has the very rare Fraktur typeface. It also includes a German-French and a German character set with their corresponding type cylinders.
