Description:
Bought it from the original family where it was 'salvaged' from the grandparents or great grandparents. It is in very nice condition and works well. The platen was gone and the feedrollers looked as though they had melted. I recovered the feedrollers and sent the platen off to J.J. Short. I was a little disappointed to find that the machine is elite type, but I like the machine so much that I don't mind. It is nice machine that would give some four bank machines a run for their money.

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
