The "Orga Privat" was a medium-sized type lever machine with a four-row keypad with 42 keys and 84 characters, front-end and simple switch-over (half-keypad).
The "Orga Privat" was the first typewriter with a self - supporting sheet metal housing, in its design the experience of BING - Werke from the tin-toy production. As a result, a cost-effective production was possible. Nevertheless, the machine had all the features of a standard typewriter.
The new design and the simple design made it possible to get a low selling price. The sale price of the machine at that time was almost 200 marks.
Dimensions: approx. 41 x 35 x 27 cm.
The old ribbon is also included.
The Carriage Works. The buttons to flip. Otherwise, I can say nothing about the functionality as a layman. To judge from the optical point of view, the machine seems to be extremely well preserved for age.
It stands on a wooden base plate and is still stored in its Original Metal Box.
Dimensions of the wood base: approx. 44 x 44 cm.
