I literally TRIED NOT TO HAVE THIS TYPEWRITER. Seriously. I was at my favorite antique mall, and it was sitting outside on a table, looking rather forlorn. All I did was walk up and look at it for a second, and the mall owner swooped down on me and grabbed the $85 price tag on it and ripped it up. He BEGGED me to take it off his hands. Literally. I said I had $8 in cash in my wallet, and I took it out to show him, and he said that was fine, just please take it, or he would throw it in a dumpster somewhere. I could not let this happen, of course. So here it is. Am going to douse it in Kroil and PB Blaster at some point, and see if I can get any of the rusted parts to move. It will be a scientific experiment, because I don't have a workshop where I can properly handle things like this. Wish me luck!
