Description:
Picked this little wonder some time ago, but it spent years under the bed at my friend's house. Finally got it back recently and fixed her up. I really enjoy the plucky typing action, I only wish the space bar action was better. Weighing in at just under 9 pounds in the case, it is my first choice to grab when I hit the road. Fixed the carriage return string, type alignment (this machine can have goofy alignment unless the folding action is just right), new rollers and platen.

I'm just a regular fella, living the lush life in a haunted house out in the sticks. Back in the 80's and 90's I had several vintage typing machines, but through the gauntlet of dislocation they inevitably fell away. Now that I am finally a homeowner (albeit haunted), I can indulge in the love that I had and still have for these machines. Funny though, back 30-40 years ago, you couldn't"t give them away. But its good to see that people care about these wonders again.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
