Description:
Since I own my Adler 7 I wanted to have a Klein Adler 1 because it is based on the design of the Adler 7. And here it is. It has a bit of rust, but everything works. And more importantly, this machine is complete. It has its own ribbon reels for a 20mm wide ribbon. The coils of the Adler 7 do not fit in this machine, neither in height (The Adler 7 uses a 25 mm ribbon), nor in diameter. And the ribbon reels need the screws with which the movement of the ribbon is changed by tightening one screw and loosening the wire screw. These screws and ribbon reels are very rare!

I come from southern Germany and have been collecting historical typewriters for 10 years. I'm interested in the antique machines built before 1945. All machines built after 1945 are not used for collecting but for writing
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler Klein Adler on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler Klein Adler By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
