Description:
This machine came with its original case, a couple newspaper clippings, its manual with some 1922 American Lung Association stamps affixed inside (surely by accident), and a 1949 receipt of repair, showing installation of a new escapement rack. It was in bad need of alignment, and I think it still needs to have its platen/rollers recovered. I'm not sure I will do that, though, since this guy is a bit cumbersome to use. It is very pretty, though, I think.

I am a student, father, and metrologist (gauges, not weather), Dungeon Master and typewriter tinkerer extraordinaire! I've only been at collecting and fixing since August 2018, but I already am a more confident person. I have learned a great deal from many of the wonderful resources available on the Internet, and I've met a lot of awesome people in my travels! Hopefully some folks can say the same about me!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
