Description:
A nice example of the L-shaped folding arm version of the Corona 3. These were made only briefly in 1919-1920: about 50,000 of them in total. This piece needs a light clean and a new ribbon, but it is otherwise functional. Unfortunately, I found it without its case (I am on the hunt for a replacement shell). I also regret the absence of the back plate over the escapement.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
