Description:
I bought the body for this 1916 Remington/Smith Premier 10A in Des Moines, Iowa in 2017. A cousin picked it up for me, and brought it to my brother's wedding in Minneapolis, Minnesota, wherein my folks took possession of it because it wouldn't fit on the plane, and had to wait a year until I could pick it up in Waterloo, Iowa. I sourced an alternate platen at Herman's typewriter gathering in West Virginia in 2018, and I used this machine in the speed-typing contest the following year.
