Description:
A work in progress, started as a heap, but then it met me. Needed to replace the escapement pinion just to even consider going any further. She's to the point now that only minor adjustments will still be needed. Oh, the original paper rest was so worn down I put on one from a 1918 parts unit.

I've fixed and sold many typewriters. There are three that I love to use for writing: 1930 Underwood No.5. 195 1 Remington Quiet-Riter, 1971 Hermes 3000.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
