I bought another many months ago that was rusted and roached beyond use or repair. Aside from its rescue, I needed to ‘feel’ the mechanism with my hands. This after reading the definitive biography of H.L. Mencken who absolutely LOVED his Corona 3 (serial #96040), By my calculation, his Corona 3 was made one month after my Corona 3. I am proud to be the current custodian of this fine machine in nearest minty form at 119 years old.
