I live in Silicon Valley, CA and bought my daughter a 1915 Underwood Model 5 for her birthday a few years ago. She uses it all the time so I thought it might be good to learn some maintenance skills, get tips from folks who know what they are doing, etc.
We're not at the point of become hunters or collectors yet ... but I think we eventually may. And since we have a pretty nice specimen on our hands, I thought it would be nice to share in an online gallery: maybe entering our machine's serial number, posting photos, etc. would be helpful to others in identifying theirs - and getting comments from others on ours would definitely be helpful and interesting.
