These are hard to find in the US, at least for me. This one came from the Netherlands. It needs some careful cleaning and tuning. So far so good.

I bought my first typewriter, an Imperial 50, in February 2026. I enjoyed the process of repairing it and cleaning it so much that I soon bought another. And another. Six months later I had 20 typewriters. I’ll need to quit my day job to keep up with these fun, interesting, challenging, satisfying and meditative projects. I’m especially interested in older machines from the experimental era of typewriter design.
