Description:
The Salter visible.
Bought to repair and take off two parts, a panel over the ribbon vibrator mechanism and a piece that turns the ribbon spools.
It arrived, destroyed.
There are five cracks in the frame, and two in the carriage. Four cracks in the basketshield. Missing some parts, like a ball bearing, the left platen knob, little pieces of carriage rack, little pieces of frame, and who knows what else.
Package was belowed and poorly put together overall. I knew then that there would be some issues, but this is bestond anything I have ever seen. Holes in the box, box itself was old, repaired poorly and used previously for many things, along them plates and christmas ornaments.
All the pieces that are taken apart were loose, except for the panel in the back and the one above the ribbon vibrator.
